Troutman Pepper Counsels The Citizens National Bank of Quitman in Acquisition by Lowndes Bancshares
ATLANTA – Troutman Pepper advised The Citizens National Bank of Quitman (CNBQ), a full-service financial institution located in Quitman, Georgia, in its acquisition by Lowndes Bancshares, Inc. (Lowndes), the parent holding company of Commercial Banking Company (CBC Bank), a Georgia-based community bank with five locations. Read a company press release for more details on the transaction.
The acquisition will allow CNBQ to provide additional resources to its customers while continuing to operate under the same name, brand, and location, as a wholly owned subsidiary of Lowndes.
