Troutman Pepper Honored by Leadership Council on Legal Diversity

ATLANTA – Troutman Pepper has been named a Top Performer and Compass Award winner by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD), which recognizes law firms and companies that show a strong commitment to building a more inclusive legal profession.

The Top Performer award recognizes those organizations who are most engaged with LCLD’s programs and activities throughout the year.

The Compass Award recognizes individuals and organizations that fulfill all of the following requirements in a single calendar year:

• Member (Managing Partner/General Counsel) engagement with LCLD
• Nominate an LCLD Fellow
• Nominate an LCLD Pathfinder
• Participate in an LCLD Pipeline Program (the 1L Scholars Program or the Success in Law School Mentoring Program)

This year, 47 Member organizations were named Top Performers, 40 were named Compass Award winners, and Troutman Pepper was among the 111 organizations who earned both designations.

Since the organization’s inception in 2009, Troutman Pepper has participated in several LCLD programs, including its Fellows, Alumni, Pathfinders, and 1L Scholars programs. The firm has previously served as the city-lead for Philadelphia area law schools as part of LCLD’s Success in Law School Mentoring Program, which pairs practicing attorneys from LCLD member organizations with first-year law students from diverse backgrounds to serve as mentors.
