WASHINGTON, D.C. – Troutman Pepper Locke partner Mary Zinsner has been named to Virginia Lawyers Weekly’s Influential Women of Law Class of 2026. The award honors women attorneys and judges for their work on behalf of the justice system and their clients, their commitment to their communities, and their service to the profession.

Based in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office, Zinsner handles high-stakes litigation and arbitration matters for banks in state and federal courts nationwide. She has experience with virtually every type of litigation impacting financial institutions, including lender liability, Uniform Commercial Code, bank operations, consumer finance, fiduciary matters, and state consumer protection statutes. Zinsner’s experience includes representing banks in class actions, data breach multidistrict litigation, and privacy matters. She also has extensive experience as a commercial litigator and serves as an arbitrator on the American Arbitration Association’s roster of neutrals for consumer, commercial, and complex cases.

Zinsner is proud of her ties to Virginia. She clerked for the Honorable Claude M. Hilton, has practiced before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia for more than 30 years, and is a well-known practitioner in the rocket docket. Zinsner has demonstrated a sustained commitment to advancing the rule of law in the Commonwealth through her service on the Board of Directors of the Virginia Law Foundation and on the Board of Governors of the Virginia Bar Association.  She is committed to pro bono work as well as bar service and was recently appointed by the DC Bar Association to the Attorney/Client Arbitration Board.
