McCoy focuses her practice on white collar criminal defense, government and internal investigations, and antitrust matters. Her clients include companies, educational institutions, public bodies, and individuals facing high-stakes allegations of misconduct, including fraud, price-fixing, securities issues, and violations under the False Claims Act, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and anti-kickback statutes.
With extensive trial experience, McCoy has secured acquittals in both state and federal courts, including an acquittal in the Department of Justice’s first-ever criminal wage-fixing case, as well as the lone acquittal in a complex health care fraud case involving 12 defendants. She also conducts internal investigations and represents clients before state and federal agencies, including attorneys general and the SEC. McCoy brings a thorough understanding of regulatory and compliance matters, which helps clients navigate complex legal landscapes and get ahead of government scrutiny before it arises.
