Troutman Pepper’s Gwendolyn Tawresey Joins Law360’s International Trade Editorial Advisory Board
BOSTON – Gwendolyn Tawresey, partner in Troutman Pepper’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, has been selected to serve on Law360’s International Trade Editorial Advisory Board, which provides feedback on Law360’s coverage and expert insight on how to best shape future coverage.
Tawresey has spent more than 10 years litigating complex intellectual property disputes before the International Trade Commission (ITC), district courts, Court of Federal Claims, Patent and Trademark Office, and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. With a mechanical engineering background, Tawresey has a unique perspective on how intellectual property impacts trade.
“As an avid reader of the publication, serving on Law360’s International Trade Editorial Advisory Board is an honor,” Tawresey said. “Staying on top of practice trends and keeping clients updated is an essential part of my practice, and I’m excited to use those skills for the broader public.”
Tawresey is a member of the Federal Circuit Bar Association, the Boston Patent Law Association, and the International Trade Commission Trial Lawyers’ Association.
Troutman Pepper has particular expertise representing both complainants and respondents before the ITC and is one of the few law firms in the United States to obtain general exclusion orders and cease-and-desist orders protecting clients from the importation of infringing products. The team, which includes PhDs, engineers, and scientists well-versed in IP rights, is experienced across a wide range of technologies, including integrated circuit design, medical devices, optical devices, LED lighting and lighting optics, graphics processors, emissions control systems, audio processing technology, semiconductors, consumer electronics, and medical supplies.
