Troutman Pepper’s Joan Arnold Joins Law360’s Tax Authority International Editorial Advisory Board

PHILADELPHIA – Joan Arnold, a partner and leader of Troutman Pepper’s Tax Practice Group, has been selected to serve on Law360’s Tax Authority International Editorial Advisory Board, which provides feedback on Law360’s coverage and expert insight on how to best shape future coverage.

Arnold focuses her practice on federal and international income tax, helping clients navigate the tax aspects of their domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions and other business transactions, and counsels clients on business-related income taxation. She is particularly experienced in the private equity area and in the life sciences industry .

With more than 40 years of experience, Arnold is considered a pioneer for women in tax. Outside the firm, she is an active member of the tax community. She is the immediate past chair of the Tax Section of the American Bar Association, past president of the American College of Tax Counsel, a member of the advisory committee for the George Washington/IRS International Tax Institute, and a past member of the executive committee of the International Fiscal Association (USA) branch.
