Virginia Lawyers Weekly Names Troutman Pepper's Jonathan Floyd Among 2023 'Leaders in the Law'
RICHMOND, Va. – Jonathan Floyd, an associate in Troutman Pepper’s nationally recognized Consumer Financial Services Practice Group, has been named among Virginia Lawyers Weekly’s 2023 “Leaders in the Law.” Floyd was recognized among attorneys across the commonwealth who are “setting the standard for other Virginia lawyers.”
Honorees were selected based on their outstanding contributions to the practice of law in Virginia, significant achievements, leadership in improving the justice system, service as role models and mentors, and essential contributions to Virginia’s legal community and the community at large.
Floyd represents clients in sophisticated consumer class action lawsuits across the country and has served as lead trial counsel and secured defense judgments in multiple state and federal courts. His pro bono practice focuses on education around financial literacy and fair housing, and he spends time every year working with students at John Marshall High School through the Street Law program.
The Class of 2023 “Leaders in the Law” will be recognized during an Oct. 24 ceremony at The John Marshall in downtown Richmond.
