Chase is a commercial litigator whose practice focuses on complex disputes. He has represented clients in high-stakes matters ranging from bet-the-company antitrust cases to cutting-edge constitutional challenges and nationwide class actions. He was part of the trial team that secured a more than $94 million judgment in a complex oil-and-gas case. And on the defense side, he has secured early dismissals of claims that avoided the expense of protracted litigation.
Chase handles cases at both the trial and appellate level. He also frequently serves as local counsel to out-of-state attorneys, advising on the intricacies of practice in both federal and state courts in Texas.
Chase draws on his experience clerking for Judge Sean D. Jordan of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. He believes the hallmark of a good attorney is not how well he argues but how well he listens. He strives to understand the details of clients’ businesses and their unique goals so that he can guide them to the best solutions tailored to their needs.
