Chris has more than 30 years of experience representing banks, lenders, borrowers, investors, servicers, and special servicers in various asset-based and real estate-secured loans. His clients include construction, bridge, and permanent lenders, life insurance and reinsurance companies, CMBS conduit lenders, developers, owners, and investors. Chris handles all aspects of commercial finance and workouts, with experience managing more than $12 billion in financings in the hotel and hospitality industry, including related franchise and management agreement negotiations.

Chris’ finance work encompasses multitranche mortgage finance, A/B note structures, mezzanine finance, CMBS originations, insurance-hedged finance, syndications, and specialty finance. He is skilled in senior, mezzanine, and subordinate secured debt origination, sales, participations, and other public and private capital market dispositions, as well as intercreditor agreements, restructurings, workouts, short sales, and REO work. Chris has extensive experience with balance sheet and CMBS/conduit lenders across various commercial property types, including office, hotel retail, multifamily, and resort.
