Dani focuses her practice on counseling both public and private companies on a range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, securities transactions, corporate governance, and organizational matters. Her mergers and acquisitions practice includes representing private equity funds and their portfolio companies, as well as strategic purchasers and sellers, in public and private mergers and acquisitions, and in investment transactions.
Dani also counsels both public and private companies with respect to a variety of general corporate matters, such as corporate governance, annual meetings, fiduciary duties, and organizational matters. She regularly assists companies with public disclosures and the drafting and filing of related documents.
Dani has also developed experience in the new and ever-changing area of the law involving Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) rights and compliance in intercollegiate athletics, including devising and implementing tailored strategies for mitigating the risk of NCAA or state attorney general enforcement activity in that space.
Dani also maintains an active pro bono practice. Among other matters, she has assisted clients in forming nonprofit entities and represented small businesses seeking trademarks.
