Emma’s tech-focused practice ranges from intellectual property to data privacy. She helps clients resolve complex intellectual property cases, handling matters involving patent, trademark, and copyright infringement, as well as trade secret misappropriation. Emma represents clients before federal district courts, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Beyond litigation, she aids clients in obtaining protection for their intellectual property by preparing and prosecuting trademark applications.

Emma’s broad experience includes advising clients on legal issues related to privacy, cybersecurity, and breach response. Additionally, she helps clients identify data privacy issues in mergers and acquisitions, as well as comply with state and federal privacy laws. Emma advises clients as they navigate the implications of rapidly-evolving technologies and legal landscapes, including artificial intelligence and allegations of invasion of privacy.
