Emma’s technology-focused practice encompasses intellectual property disputes, data privacy, and emerging technologies. She advises clients on the development, protection, commercialization, and enforcement of intellectual property, technology, and data assets throughout the business lifecycle.

Emma represents clients in complex intellectual property disputes involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. She has experience litigating matters before federal district courts, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Her practice also includes counseling clients on online brand protection, domain disputes, and digital enforcement strategies.

Emma advises clients on technology, intellectual property, and data privacy issues arising in commercial transactions and corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions. Her experience includes intellectual property and privacy due diligence; technology contracting and licensing matters; digital advertising and marketing issues; and advising on privacy compliance, breach response, and the legal implications of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence. She regularly helps clients assess and manage technology, intellectual property, and data-related risks in connection with business operations, strategic transactions, and regulatory requirements.

Emma also assists clients in securing intellectual property rights through trademark and patent prosecution and portfolio management.
