Graham is an associate in the Consumer Financial Services practice who leverages more than a decade of trial, motion, prosecution, and strategic advisory experience to defend financial institutions and other clients in high-stakes disputes. He is an experienced litigator with a successful track record handling document-intensive cases from investigation through trial.
Graham also delivers trusted strategic counsel, collaborating with the firm’s multidisciplinary financial services team to provide integrated legal solutions that address compliance, enforcement, and litigation issues simultaneously and helping his clients navigate complex legal challenges before they escalate.
Before joining the firm, Graham served as special assistant U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia, where he litigated dozens of complex federal cases and developed a deep understanding of federal procedural practice, evidentiary hearings, and courtroom advocacy. He managed cases through their complete lifecycle, coordinated with federal agencies on complex investigations, and argued dispositive motions and evidentiary briefs. Graham also was a state prosecutor in Norfolk, where he led numerous jury and bench trials, managed large dockets, and independently handled all phases of litigation including discovery, trial preparation, and legal briefing.
