Henry’s practice focuses on corporate law and oil, gas, and energy law. He regularly advises upstream and midstream energy companies in their strategic transactions. Henry is experienced in representing private companies and private equity funds across several industries, including agriculture, real estate, hospitality, health care, and oil and gas.

  • Represented a private oil and gas company in connection with the acquisition of more than $100 million in upstream assets, as well as the issuance of $150 million of notes through an asset-backed securitization transaction.
  • Represented Ag-Pro, LLC, in its acquisition and divestiture of more than 50 John Deere dealerships throughout Texas, Ohio, and the Southeast.
  • Assisted Tailwater Capital LLC in its sale of Align Midstream Partners II, LLC, to M6 Midstream LLC.
  • Advised Comstock Resources in its acquisition of Covey Park Energy LLC, as well as its divestiture of its Bakken Shale assets to Northern Oil & Gas, Inc.
  • Advised Merit Energy Company in the $300 million acquisition of BHP Billiton Petroleum assets, significantly expanding its operational foothold.
  • Represented DoubleBarrel Downhole Technologies, LLC, in its sale to Intrepid Directional Drilling Specialists.
  • Counseled Riverbend Energy Group in its capital investment in Endurans Solar.
  • Led the stock-for-stock sale of Breakwater Energy Partners to Select Energy Services, expanding Select’s recycling capabilities.
  • Advised Caliber Completion Services, LLC, in the acquisition of substantially all of the wireline assets from ClearWell Dynamics’ subsidiary formerly known as Pioneer Wireline Services.
  • Advised Eva-Last in its acquisition of Fortress Deck Products, significantly expanding its international footprint in the U.S.
