Jake represents a wide range of financial services companies in disputes, litigation, investigations, and examinations. He focuses his practice on defending consumer facing financial institutions against class actions and individual claims in both state and federal courts, particularly with respect to the “alphabet soup” of consumer protection statutes, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
Jake provides ongoing analysis and commentary on developments in the consumer financial services industry through the CFS Law Monitor blog.
