Lauren advises and represents owners and developers of large, complex projects in all aspects of construction-related transactional and litigation matters, including infrastructure, airports, energy, and commercial and residential developments. She works closely with clients throughout the full life cycle of a project–from initial planning and procurement through project execution, close-out, and dispute resolution. Lauren’s experience includes drafting and negotiating a wide range of construction agreements, including engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) agreements, construction management agreements, design-build agreements, design agreements, and engineered equipment purchase orders. She also counsels owners and developers on the resolution of construction disputes and claims arising during and after construction, and represents them in litigation, when necessary. Lauren is based in the firm’s New York office.
Lauren received her law degree from Emory University School of Law. While at Emory, she was a managing editor of the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal, the president of the Tax Law Society, and received a Technological Innovation: Generating Economic Results certificate. She also served as a legal intern for the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation’s Family Law Program and as a legal extern for the Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta.
Additionally, Lauren received her bachelor’s degree in supply chain management from Temple University.
