With particularly deep experience advising developers throughout the life cycle of their projects, Maddy has negotiated numerous shared infrastructure development agreements, declarations, and easement agreements for mixed-use developments. She has also tackled multifaceted and complex title and survey analysis for her clients. 

Maddy graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she was a Dean’s fellow and chair of the Dean’s Advisory Council.

  • Represented multifamily apartment and townhome developers in connection with various land acquisitions, financings, and joint ventures for the development of projects in North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, Florida, Georgia, and Virginia.
  • Represented developers with title and survey review and the negotiation of purchase and sale agreements for a variety of retail and industrial developments.
  • Multiple transactions focused on negotiating and closing sales and refinancings of existing apartment projects throughout the U.S.
