Nate D. Underhill

Nate counsels insurers through complex coverage issues arising from an array of claims under directors and officers, professional liability, cyber, tax liability, representations and warranties, general liability, and employment practices policies. He advises clients on pre-litigation issues including claims investigation and handling, settlement demands, and defense and indemnity obligations. Nate also represents insurers in high-stakes coverage disputes, in which clients value his analytical and advocacy skills.

Before joining the insurance industry, Nate held positions at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the Suffolk County (MA) District Attorney’s Office, the BC Law Defenders Clinic, and a large tech company.
