Paul represents corporate trust departments of banks engaged in providing services for a wide variety of structures and assets. He has extensive experience working with financial institutions and service providers on transactions involving collateralized loan obligations, collateralized bond obligations, and commercial mortgage-backed securities, among others. Paul also advises clients on the rights, remedies, and obligations of parties in distressed and defaulted securitizations and debt transactions, including enforcement, foreclosure, and litigation matters. Additionally, he has worked on redemptions, amendments, and restructurings of existing transactions.
Paul brings a deep understanding of securitization and derivative transactions. He handles securitization transactions involving collateralized loan obligation notes, collateralized debt obligation transactions, and multicurrency securitization transactions. Paul also advises parties to swaps and other derivative contracts, including credit default swaps, interest rate swaps, and commodity swap transactions, on their enforcement rights following events of default or termination events under ISDA master agreements.
