Rachel is an associate in the firm's Regulatory Investigations, Strategy + Enforcement (RISE) Practice Group. She has represented clients in commercial litigation and business disputes, including breach of contract, unfair competition, trade secrets, and data breach litigation. She also assists clients in responding to investigations by regulatory authorities. Rachel regularly provides ongoing commentary and analysis on developments in the state and federal regulatory landscape through the firm's Regulatory blog, Regulatory Oversight.
Prior to joining the firm, Rachel practiced at a Charlotte-based firm where she focused on representing corporate clients in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and in general litigation matters.
Rachel earned her undergraduate degree from Duke University and her J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law. While in law school, she served as an intern for the Honorable Eric S. Rosen of the Kansas Supreme Court.
