Rachelle advises lenders, debt buyers, and other consumer financial services entities in matters involving the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and various other federal and state consumer protection laws. Rachelle also has extensive experience litigating matters involving commercial debt collection, managed care litigation, and other complex business disputes, in state and federal courts as well as alternative dispute resolution forums.

Rachelle draws on her administrative law experience as a law clerk at the Small Business Administration’s Office of Interagency Affairs. At the SBA, Rachelle conducted legal research in the review of proposed and final agency rules, assisted in the development of draft policy decisions taken in public comment letters, and conducted outreach to small businesses and trade associations to ensure the identification of policies and federal programs impacting small businesses.

Rachelle is also committed to pro bono work. She counsels numerous clients alongside organizations such as Family Legal Care and the Washington Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights. In 2024 and 2025, Rachelle was given High Honors awards by the District of Columbia Courts in partnership with the D.C. Access to Justice Commission and the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center in recognition of her pro bono service.
