Robb P. Stewart

Robb provides counsel in all areas of real estate and mortgage lending law to health care companies, pension funds, financial services firms, a national restaurant chain, media companies, and individuals. He assists clients with acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, foreclosures, workouts, construction and permanent loans, and specialized lease financing, such as sale-leasebacks and synthetic lease financings. Robb’s experience extends to corporate real estate issues for both public and private companies and negotiating advertising agreements for agencies and advertisers.

Robb’s notable experience includes representing a financial services firm in joint ventures for office complexes valued at more than $500 million and assisting a national health care company with the sale of medical office buildings.

• Representation of a Fortune 300 company in connection with a headquarters lease.
• Representation of a pension fund in connection with the acquisition of multifamily and retail projects and the assumption of a CMBS loan.
• Representation of a financial services firm in loans to an investment fund aggregating in excess of $200 million.
• Representation of a public company in connection with the separation of real estate assets as part of a spin-off transaction.
• Representation of investors in connection with the portfolio sale of eight multifamily projects.
