Three Troutman Pepper Attorneys Selected for Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Programs
NEW YORK – Troutman Pepper Partner Chris Araujo has been selected to participate in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) 2022 Fellows Program, and Associates Adrian Boddie and Sasha Robertson have been named to the 2022 LCLD Pathfinder Program. LCLD seeks to create a more diverse and inclusive legal profession with more than 400 members, including corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners.
“Troutman Pepper is a proud member of LCLD, where we have been actively involved for over a decade,” said Troutman Pepper Managing Partner Tom Cole. “The partners and associates engaged in the program gain incomparable skills and experiences they will carry with them throughout their careers. We are excited for this year’s participants.”
Araujo will participate in the LCLD Fellows Program, which engages diverse, high-potential, mid-career attorneys. The program aims to provide participants with professional and personal development opportunities, leadership training, relationship-building opportunities, and access to LCLD managing partners and general counsel.
Araujo focuses his practice on commercial financing transactions across a broad range of borrowers including high net worth individuals, public and private corporations, life science and technology companies, real estate investment funds, venture capital funds, and other private equity funding entities.
Boddie and Robertson will participate in LCLD’s Pathfinder Program, dedicated to diverse, high-potential, early-career attorneys, aiming to develop the tools needed to build internal professional networks and develop an understanding of career development strategies that apply to both in-house and law firm practices.
Boddie focuses his practice on complex real estate finance transactions, joint ventures, and public finance lending. Robertson focuses her practice on development and finance of renewable energy projects with an emphasis on solar energy developments.
Troutman Pepper has been involved with LCLD since 2009, when the organization was founded. The firm participates in several LCLD programs, including its Fellows, Alumni, Pathfinder, and 1L Scholars programs. The firm also serves as the city-lead for Philadelphia area law schools as part of LCLD’s Success in Law School Mentoring Program.
