PHILADELPHIA, PA – Troutman Pepper advised Civic Eagle, a technology company providing legislative data and intelligence software solutions, on its $10 million funding round. Geoff Starr and Abe Kwon led the Troutman Pepper team advising Civic Eagle, which also included Stephen Fox, Roe Granger, and Dawn Hall.

The financing was led by S3 Ventures, with participation from Menlo Ventures, Consonance Investment Managers, Debut Capital, and Colin Kaepernick. Returning investors included Backstage Capital, ffVC, M25, and Higher Ground Labs. The funding will be used to expand the company’s impact on public policy data innovation, expand sales and marketing efforts, and broaden product development
