ATLANTA – Troutman Pepper client Payroc WorldAccess, LLC, a global payments leader, has announced the acquisition of Iroquois Merchant Services, a leading provider of electronic payment processing services for businesses, local government entities, nonprofits, and more. Payroc is a high-growth merchant acquirer, processor, and payment facilitation powerhouse processing more than $40 billion in annual charge volume in over 40 countries, for more than 110,000 merchants. Through strategic partners, banks, associations, and technology platforms, Iroquois implements customized payment processing solutions creating efficiencies in acceptance, reconciliation, and reporting.
Troutman Pepper Partner Brad Resweber and Associate Cody Mathis advised Payroc in the acquisition. The firm has more than 200 attorneys who regularly advise financial services providers, including banks, neobanks, payment processors, card issuers, and consumer and commercial marketplace lenders.
