PHILADELPHIA – Troutman Pepper Locke partner Barbara Sicalides has been appointed global chair of the Antitrust, Competition and Trade Practice Group at Lex Mundi, one of the world’s leading networks of independent law firms.

As global chair, Sicalides will coordinate cross-border collaboration among antitrust and competition lawyers across Lex Mundi’s premier independent member firms to support clients facing multijurisdictional investigations and enforcement actions. She will also lead knowledge sharing and training initiatives, including programming on emerging enforcement trends, digital markets, and global regulatory convergence and divergence. In addition, Sicalides will enhance client service by developing innovative strategies and resources for global companies navigating complex competition and trade issues.

Sicalides co-leads Troutman Pepper Locke’s Antitrust Practice Group, which covers the full spectrum of antitrust and competition matters.She routinely handles antitrust litigation, conduct and merger investigations, and counseling, as well as distribution disputes and arrangements, for domestic and international companies. Her work also includes actions challenging agreements among competitors, such as price fixing, customer allocation, output restraints, and other horizontal agreements, as well as monopolization claims and matters involving alleged exclusionary conduct or agreements.
