Troutman Pepper’s M&A Practice Continues Strong Performance in 2021 Q2 Industry League Table Rankings

NEW YORK – Troutman Pepper advised in more than 35 mergers and acquisitions in Q2 2021, with an overall deal value totaling more than $6.8 billion. Transactions spanned across the United States with a handful of cross-border deals, including in Canada and the U.K. Completed private equity-related transactions had an overall deal value totaling nearly $1 billion.

“Q2’s overall M&A activity built on the momentum from Q1, leading to the highest-ever deal value and volume for a first half of the year,” said Partner Matt Greenberg, who leads the firm’s Corporate Practice Group. “We expect this trend to continue as rates remain low for attractive borrowing and market confidence stays high.”
