Brannon has more than 20 years of experience building technology teams and tailoring custom technology solutions with 15 years focusing on information security and information governance. As the director of security and infrastructure for Troutman eMerge, he advises the technology team members, oversees eMerge infrastructure, manages vendors, and consults with eMerge’s attorneys and clients regarding security initiatives, as well as issues related to technology, and data privacy. Brannon’s responsibilities include providing support and technical assistance with the design, development, and implementation of services and technology, as well as providing on-going research and input on new technologies, innovations, and services to further the success of the practice. He plays a leading role in training and mentoring team members; educational efforts to keep attorneys and clients up to date on evolving issues related to technology, information security, and data privacy; and evaluating, recommending and managing systems, software, and infrastructure agreements. Brannon leads the Information Security Management Committee, which oversees framework compliance, such as ISO 27001, as well as serving as chairman of the Data Security and Handling Committee, which oversees security-related initiatives across all aspects of the company. 

Brannon is a visionary leader and proactive change catalyst with expertise in boosting security and reducing corporate risk exposure by introducing cutting-edge enterprise solutions.
