Dan is a real estate partner in the firm’s Boston office. His practice covers the acquisition, sale, leasing, financing, and development of commercial property, with client work spanning 40+ states.
Dan represents investment funds, REITs, private equity funds, developers, national retailers, closely held businesses, and lenders. He also regularly handles the real estate components of corporate mergers and acquisitions. His deal experience includes property acquisitions for industrial REITs, sale-leaseback transactions exceeding $1 billion, and store development programs for national retail chains and convenience store operators. Dan also represents commercial lenders on acquisition, construction, and operating loans, as well as distressed loans, workouts, and foreclosures.
Before becoming an attorney, he worked at architecture firms, which gives him a technical understanding of the work behind permitting, entitlements, construction, and new commercial development.
Outside the office, Dan has been involved in real estate industry groups such as NAIOP and ICSC. He has served on the Planning Board and Bylaw Review Commission for Scituate, MA, and is the former chair of the town’s skatepark development committee.
