Troutman Pepper Counsels Domtar in Acquisition of Iconex Paper’s Point-of-Sale Receipt Business in North America
ATLANTA – Troutman Pepper client Domtar Corporation, a privately held manufacturer of diversified forest products, has completed the successful acquisition of Iconex Paper from Atlas Holdings, a low-cost provider of paper receipt solutions. Read a company press release about the acquisition.
Iconex Paper converts thermal paper parent rolls into point-of-sale (POS) receipt rolls, serving customers in industries such as food service, retail, pharmacy and financial services from its five North American locations in Arizona, Kansas, Tennessee, Virginia and Mexico. Domtar, with a workforce of approximately 14,000 employees across more than 60 locations in North America, is a leading manufacturer of diversified forest products. This acquisition strengthens Domtar’s position as a leading provider of thermal point-of-sale paper products in the U.S., enhancing their operational and supply chain capabilities.
