March 2022 Alumni Newsletter
A NOTE FROM STEVE AND TOM
We are pleased to share the year's first issue of our Troutman Pepper Alumni newsletter. We are happy to report that we continued to come together in 2021 producing strong results, and we are off to a solid start in 2022. Our commitment to driving progress in every area of our business has enabled us to secure new work, win cases, close transactions, and grow our firm.
Thus far, we've welcomed our new partner and counsel class and expanded our Financial Services practice with the addition of a nationally recognized team of Consumer Financial Services attorneys. We also launched our Water Quality and Water Resources practice's Reflections on Water website and podcast, the Troutman Pepper Strategies Governmental Affairs website, as well as the FCRA Focus and RICO Report podcasts.
We are proud of how much we've accomplished as Troutman Pepper and anticipate sharing more good news throughout the year. We also look forward to a return to greater safety, stability, and connectedness for us all.

Tom Cole, Managing Partner

ALUMNI NOTES
As the crisis in Ukraine erupted into war, we learned of many Troutman Pepper colleagues with family and friends in Ukraine and in the countries that are receiving refugees. As a result, the firm worked with the American Red Cross to raise money to support humanitarian efforts on behalf of those affected. Troutman Pepper attorneys and staff (including several retired alums) donated $106,000 to the American Red Cross, which the firm matched dollar for dollar. As a result, our total stands at $212,000, and counting. Troutman Pepper's longstanding shared legacy of serving those in need continues to grow, and we are heartened to see the great commitment of our people.
