Troutman Pepper’s Joan Arnold Named to Law360’s Tax Authority International Editorial Advisory Board

PHILADELPHIA –Joan Arnold, a partner and leader of Troutman Pepper’s Tax Practice Group, has been selected to serve on Law360’s Tax Authority International Editorial Advisory Board for the second consecutive year. The advisory board provides feedback on Law360’s coverage and expert insight on how to best shape future coverage.

Arnold focuses her practice on federal and international income tax and is particularly experienced in the M&A activities of the private equity and life sciences industries and in handling the tax implications of cross-border operations. She regularly helps clients navigate the tax aspects of their domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions and counsels clients on business taxation.

Arnold is a well-known leader of the tax bar and longtime educator. For more than 30 years, she has taught corporate and international tax for graduate tax programs at several law schools throughout the U.S. and frequently presents at international tax conferences. Arnold is a past chair of the Section of Taxation of the American Bar Association, past president of the American College of Tax Counsel, and is a member of the advisory committee for the George Washington/IRS International Tax Institute.
