Jeffrey focuses his practice on insurance regulatory and compliance matters, as well as general corporate and complex insurance transactional issues.

  • Assisted as counsel for Accretive Insurance Solutions, a nationwide collection of leading independent, niche-focused specialty and wholesale insurance providers and administrators, in its acquisition of Chicago-based Your-Way-Medicare.
  • Assisted as counsel to Ambac Financial Group Inc., a financial services holding company, in the purchase of a majority stake in All Trans Risk Solutions, a full-service managing general underwriter specializing in commercial automobile insurance for specific “for-hire” auto classes.
  • Assisted as counsel to Ambac Financial Group in the purchase of a majority stake in Capacity Marine Corporation, a wholesale and retail brokerage and reinsurance intermediary specializing in marine and international risk.
  • Assisted as counsel to Warburg Pincus, a leading global growth investor, in its agreement to acquire K2 Insurance Services, a leading independent specialty insurance program manager, from Lee Equity Partners.
  • Assisted as counsel to JM Family Enterprises, Inc., a privately held diversified company with $18 billion in revenue and 4,700 associates, rooted in automotive and united in its strong culture and core values, on its investment in its growth strategy with the acquisition of Futura Title & Escrow LLC, a family of leading independent title and escrow companies providing superior customer service in the Pacific Northwest.
