Lauren is a dedicated and accomplished attorney with a strong background in legal research and drafting. Before joining the firm, Lauren served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Tobias S. Hampson at the North Carolina Court of Appeals. In this role, she drafted opinions, conducted legal research, and evaluated oral arguments. She also supervised interns' work in cite-checking opinions and drafting bench memoranda.
Lauren earned her J.D. from Campbell University School of Law, where she served as the managing editor for the Campbell Law Review. Her commitment to legal excellence was further demonstrated through her active participation in the Moot Court Team, and her roles as a legal research and writing teaching scholar, research assistant to Professor Joshua Walthall, and trial advocacy teaching assistant.
