Mason chairs the firm’s Transactional Department and is a member of the firm’s Management Team and Policy Committee.

Mason is a partner in the firm’s Corporate practice. His practice focuses on the representation of public and private companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions and security offerings. He is a 1995 graduate of Tulane University School of Law where he was on the Tulane Law Review and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina. A member of the American, Virginia, and Richmond Bar Associations, Mason also served as a law clerk for the late Honorable Robert R. Merhige, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
